T/S RUPEL

Your sailing adventure starts on T/S Rupel.

Ever dreamed of setting sail during the summer holidays aboard an authentic wooden two-master?
Then now is the time! Every year, STI (Sail Training International) organizes an international sailing competition in Europe during the summer vacation.

One of STI's goals is to bring together young people aged 15 to 25 from around the world and introduce them to the magical world of sailing at sea. Additionally, STI also organizes various cultural and sporting activities in the host ports visited between the different races.

Get on board!

Sailing ship Rupel, a beautiful wooden gaff schooner built in 1996 on the banks of the Rupel, stands as a symbol of craftsmanship and tradition. This unique vessel brings together young and old to enjoy the magic of sailing and adventure.

Throughout the year, the Rupel shines at various nautical events, impressing all with her majestic appearance and rich history. But the sailing ship Rupel is more than just a vessel: it actively supports social projects, offering people a unique opportunity to experience the power of teamwork and perseverance.

During the summer holidays, the Rupel faithfully participates in the Tall Ships Races (TSR), an international event that brings together young people from around the world. With pride and passion, the Rupel has already won several awards, further cementing its reputation as an icon of the Belgian sailing community.

If you're looking to experience an unforgettable adventure, sail at sea, meet new people, and so much more, then this is the perfect opportunity!
